She started my music foundation’s free after-school violin program “Ovation Strings” with me, and directed the program for many years. She was truly one of the most extraordinary string teachers and human beings in the world.

Indigenous Enterprise and I are thrilled to be performing in this really cool event!

Indigenous Enterprise and Daisy Jopling have come together in a powerful, first-of-its-kind collaboration to present a groundbreaking performance that celebrates heritage, healing, and the power of dance, music and storytelling. 

Indigenous Enterprise is a globally recognized Native American collective of dancers and culture-bearers whose mission is to share and preserve Indigenous traditions through vibrant performance and community engagement. They have performed worldwide, including at the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, at Lincoln Center and Sydney Opera House, and they won an Emmy for their original film "Indigenous Enterprise Brings Powwow Dancing to the World Stage".

Daisy Jopling is an internationally-renowned violinist, composer and show creator who has performed in major concert halls and festivals in 54 countries around the world, collaborated with many international stars, and her original music has been aired on television worldwide.

These two visionaries are joining together to inspire audiences with a story that connects us all to the land, our ancestors, and each other.

We are so proud of our Tarrytown Ovation Strings students!

Thank you to Joanne and Fred Landau for supporting this program, the Family YMCA at Tarrytown for being wonderful hosts and our fantastic Teacher and Ovation Strings Program Director, Travis Carpenter.

We look forward to supporting these young, aspiring students with you this Saturday, June 28 at 11 AM at the Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown - Daisy will also whip out her violin and play a few tunes!

Daisy Jopling concert at the Abbey Inn & Spa

I am so looking forward to performing at this absolutely gorgeous venue! The concert will take place in the Cornerstone Room, which has been hand painted over many years by a nun, and her frescoes are stunningly beautiful. The acoustic will be gorgeous, I am excited for an intimate and magical concert celebrating the Celtic Festival Imbolc and Goddess Brigid.

Arrive early for delicious cocktails at 6:30 PM, the concert will be 7 PM - 8 PM, and please stay for dinner afterwards!
